I LOVE this store. Everyone is very kind and friendly. Sure, it's their job to be but you can tell who fakes it and who is sincere. Everyone here is pretty sincere. Its the only place I go to to get my cat his RAWZ Shredded cat food, which he goes crazy for. They have a great selection of items, even a dog washing station for those that use them. I go here almost weekly to get supplies for my cat and im never upset about my time in there. Support your local Bensons. Support family businesses!

Great prices and selection on premium pet food. Their prices beat the big box pet stores - including Chewy. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable employees willing to go the extra mile. In addition they help local shelters and rescues.

I was actually on my way to PetSmart when I saw this pet shop on my map. I decided to check it out and I am so glade that I did. The employees were very friendly. They greeted Blue and I when we walked in. It’s very clean and well organized. Very helpful employee helped me find some good toys and treats for my heavy duty chewer. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re in Saratoga Springs. 😊👍

This is an awesome pet store! They have a ton of toys and treats to choose from and anything else you might need for your pet. The staff are friendly and the prices are fair.

A few months ago, my dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and his condition rapidly worsened. About two weeks before he passed, I took him to Benson's Pet Center for a bath because he had been having accidents, and I wanted him to feel clean and dignified. As I walked around the store, I was crying uncontrollably, feeling like I was falling apart. An employee, I believe a manager, was incredibly kind and helpful. No one made me feel silly for sobbing, and their compassion meant the world to me in that moment. The employee asked for my address, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. Today, I received a handwritten card from all the employees, offering their condolences for my loss. That level of empathy and kindness brought me to tears all over again. Thank you, Benson's, for caring so deeply and going above and beyond. It truly made a difference in such a difficult time.

This pet store saved the day for us yesterday! We’re camping in the area and the dog got into a zillion burrs and poison ivy while we were disc golfing. We came to pick up some of his favorite food (which was buy 3 get one free!) and stayed to give him a good wash. It was so much better than hours picking out poison ivy covered burrs at a campsite. Staff were super friendly and helpful and ultimately we spent way more there than we strictly needed to because it was all so great. Wish we lived near a store like this. Oh, and they have disc golf stuff!
